Electional astrology is the art of choosing the most auspicious moment to begin an endeavor. The chart cast for that chosen moment becomes the natal chart of the event itself — a business launch, a marriage, a legal filing, a surgical procedure — and its Astrodynic profile describes the energetic foundation on which that endeavor is built.

A NOTE ON ELECTIONS: There is no such thing as a perfect election. The Astrodynic score and Traditional assessment work together — a high Astrodynes score should always be read alongside the Traditional indicators. The goal is to select the best available moment within your actual time constraints, not to wait for a perfect chart that may never come. Use both frameworks together and apply your judgment.

Stellar Moves scores each candidate moment using purpose-weighted Astrodynes, so a marriage election emphasizes Venus, Moon, and Jupiter while a career launch emphasizes Sun, Saturn, and MC. Void-of-course Moon moments are automatically excluded. Retrograde planets are filtered by purpose — Mercury Rx for legal and communication matters, Venus Rx for relationships, Mars Rx for competitive ventures.

The scan steps through your chosen date range at 10-minute intervals (for high-stakes events) or 20-minute intervals, evaluates each moment, and returns the top 50 candidates ranked by harmonic score. Select any candidate to view its chart wheel, full Astrodynes, and an AI reading.

This module analyzes the relationship between two people using three complementary frameworks from C.C. Zain's Brotherhood of Light system.

Astrodynic Compatibility compares each person's planetary power and harmony/discord scores side by side. Planets that are strong and harmonious in both charts represent shared strengths. Planets discordant in both charts point to areas of mutual challenge — not incompatibility, but territory that requires conscious attention in the relationship.

Synastry Aspects shows the inter-chart contacts between the two natal charts, weighted by Astrodynic power. A Venus-Jupiter trine between powerful planets carries far more weight than the same aspect between weakly placed ones.

The Davison Chart represents the relationship itself as an entity — its own natal chart, with its own Astrodynic profile. This chart answers what the relationship is, independent of either person's individual chart.

The Cosmodynes / Astrodynes System

Stellar Moves uses the Brotherhood of Light Cosmodynes (also called Astrodynes), a quantitative approach to astrology developed by Elbert Benjamine (C.C. Zain) in the early 20th century. Unlike interpretive systems that rely on keywords and intuition, Cosmodynes assign precise numerical power and harmony scores to every planet, sign, and house based on house position, aspects, dignities, and parallels of declination.

Power measures how strongly a planet is activated in your chart. A high-power planet dominates your experience wherever its lines fall on Earth — for better or worse depending on harmony.

Net Harmony (H − D) measures the quality of that power. Trines, sextiles, and dignified placements add to Harmony; squares, oppositions, and debilities add to Discord. A positive net harmony means the planet tends to express constructive qualities; negative means challenging themes are more likely. High power with positive harmony is a significant geographic asset.

The Four Locational Techniques

ACG LINES — ASTROCARTOGRAPHY

The four angles (MC, IC, AS, DS) projected as lines across Earth where each planet was on that angle at your birth moment. Living on or near a planet's line intensifies its expression in your life.

PARANS

Two planets simultaneously on angles at the same latitude. Their combined energy is active along that entire latitude band worldwide. Natal parans represent destiny signatures embedded in your birth moment.

GEODETIC

A fixed zodiac overlay where 0° Aries = 0° geographic longitude. Natal planets conjunct a location's geodetic angles carry an intrinsic resonance with that longitude, independent of birth time. Shown as MCg / ICg / ASg / DSg on the map.

LOCAL SPACE

Lines radiating from your birthplace along the horizon azimuth of each planet at birth. Where a Local Space line passes through a city, that planet's energy is woven into the day-to-day texture of life there.
